释义	派出所一旦立案不是就必须结案。对于以下4种情况，派出所会对其进行销案处理：1、案件破获，但不够追究刑事责任，在立案程序上叫做销案；2、案件破获，嫌疑人也全被抓获，那么案件进入“破案”状态；3、案件当事人全部死亡（侵害人与被侵害人），或是犯罪嫌疑人已死亡，那么案件自然销案；4、案件久侦未破，且对侵害人的刑罚处罚已经过了刑罚追诉期。法律依据
