释义	法律分析：视情况而定，要看老人是否有其他具有赡养能力的子女，并不是说代位继承了就一定要承担赡养义务，二者没有必然联系的。老人有子女的，由子女赡养。子女全都去世的，由有赡养能力的孙子女、外孙子女赡养。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千一百二十八条被继承人的子女先于被继承人死亡的，由被继承人的子女的直系晚辈血亲代位继承。被继承人的兄弟姐妹先于被继承人死亡的，由被继承人的兄弟姐妹的子女代位继承。代位继承人一般只能继承被代位继承人有权继承的遗产份额。
