问题	证人是否必须出庭作证
释义	民事诉讼中证人有义务出庭，但不是必须出庭。经人民法院通知，证人应当出庭作证。有下列情形之一的，经人民法院许可，可以通过书面证言、视听传输技术或者视听资料等方式作证： (一)因健康原因不能出庭的; (二)因路途遥远，交通不便不能出庭的; (三)因自然灾害等不可抗力不能出庭的; (四)其他有正当理由不能出庭的。【法律依据】《民事诉讼法》第七十五条，凡是知道案件情况的单位和个人，都有义务出庭作证。有关单位的负责人应当支持证人作证。不能正确表达意思的人，不能作证。
